MEET THE CRUZ CREW
Pep Katcher
Pep Katcher was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and studied in the United States. He graduated from Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
During and after ASU, he was employed in the hospitality industry and in various financial trade pursuits, including positions on Wall Street, Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.
After relocating back to Arizona in the early 90’s, he owned an import/export company with family members in the U.S. and Mexico.
Fluent in Spanish, English, and conversational French, Pep is an avid traveler with a passion for global business.
Todd Nelson
Todd has over 15 years experience in Marketing and Business Development in a variety of industries. He is currently the Head of Business Development for FirstAgain.com, an online consumer lending company based in San Diego, CA.
During his career Todd has led Partnership Marketing and Business Development departments for Capital One, Bank One and several other companies. Todd also led an advertising campaign which won the American Marketing Association's Gold Effie Award.
In the 1980s and 90s, Todd was a regular stand-up comedy performer at the Improv and other comedy clubs. He enjoys marathon running, golf, travel, sports and live music.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication at Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from the William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
Todd splits times between his home in Tempe, AZ and office in San Francisco, CA.
Saulo Katcher
Saulo was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and grew up in the Midwest possessing both diverse personal and professional backgrounds.
Voted 1986 Gatorade Baseball Player of The Year in North Dakota, Saulo chose to attend Arizona State University, where he also won the Gold Medal in fencing at the Arizona State University Fencing Tournament in 1990.
Saulo received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Minor in Spanish from Arizona State University. His professional background includes working as an Athletic Trainer in the San Francisco Giants organization and as the owner of several businesses in Arizona.
Saulo is fluent in both Spanish and English, enjoys playing classical guitar, reading, and travel.
His vast experience and extensive personal and professional contacts in Mexico, are critical to the company's operational excellence. Saulo's wife and close-knit family hail from Arandas which is the key tequila producing region in Jalisco, Mexico.
