Joseph Pep Katcher

Pep Katcher was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and studied in the United States. He graduated from Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. During and after ASU, he was employed in the hospitality industry and in various financial trade pursuits, including positions on Wall Street, Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Chicago Board of Options Exchange. After relocating back to Arizona in the early 90’s, he owned an import/export company with family members in the U.S. and Mexico. He also has been involved in several other business ventures and currently owns a residential and commercial general contracting company. Fluent in Spanish, English, and conversational French, Pep is an avid traveler with a passion for global business.

Saulo Katcher

Saulo was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and grew up in the Midwest possessing both diverse personal and professional backgrounds.  Voted 1986 Gatorade Baseball Player of The Year in North Dakota, Saulo chose to attend Arizona State University, where he also won the Gold Medal in fencing at the Arizona State University Fencing Tournament in 1990.  Saulo received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Minor in Spanish from Arizona State University. His professional background includes working as an Athletic Trainer in the San Francisco Giants organization and as the owner of several businesses in Arizona.  Saulo is fluent in both Spanish and English, enjoys playing classical guitar, reading, and travel.  His vast experience and extensive personal and professional contacts in Mexico, are critical to the company's operational excellence.  Saulo's wife and close-knit family hail from Arandas which is the key tequila producing region in Jalisco, Mexico.

Mark Kerns

Mark Kerns has over 20 years experience in the beverage industry. He started his career in Austin, Texas with Glazer's Family of Companies and then with Block Distributing in San Antonio, Texas where he held several management positions. In 1999, Mark accepted the State Manager position in Illinois with Southcorp Wines and was promoted and moved to Arizona to assume the role of On-Premise National Accounts for the Western United States.   In 2005, Mark left Southcorp to start his own company, Trellis Wine Group, which partners with small to medium sized wineries help develop them in On-Premise National Accounts. After three years, he sold his interest and joined the team at Cruz Tequila where he leads all sales efforts. Mark enjoys the outdoors, is an avid hiker and enjoys baseball (The Chicago Cubs) and golf in his spare time.

Ramon Ramirez

Ramon was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he did graduate studies in industrial technology at the Mexico-Italian Institute. Ramon has extensive experience in working for and managing a number of companies. In 1999, he relocated to Arandas, Jalisco, where founded his own company, Ramavi, which is dedicated to the distribution of industrial supplies. Ramavi has become a major company in the region and supplier of custom design and fabrication of machine parts for some of the biggest Tequila houses in Jalisco. Ramon is fluent in both Spanish and English. He enjoys the flavors of Mexican and International cuisine, and his biggest passion is travel with his family.
